940 Posts | In the past few months the number of postings to this message board have been few and far between. Since LL has been successful why do you think this message board has not grown with that success. |

227 Posts | Good question Ed. I personally was more active on the boards during the old CGAP days when the price of admission was much lower and the annual passes were quite cheap. I might have visited already and had more to contribute on the boards if LLF had decided to keep the Starliner. That, plus lowering the ticket prices to make them more affordable so I can experience the park so I can then in turn come on this board and share my thoughts and experiences on the various things and areas in the park. | | |

1362 Posts | There are lots of visitors on the site daily looking at photos, but not a lot of people post. Not much reason to, we've said pretty much all that can be said. Also, Google rankings aren't very high, which is fine by me. I'd prefer to not draw that much attention anyway. Another thing is that the site is very specialized on a park that very few people actually seem to care about. Other sites have a much wider collection of parks they cover, so any stagnant times are made up for with other parks.
None of it really matter to me, I just work on the site for fun anyway. 
(P.S. And if you think this site is slow, you should visit the other LLF sites. They're *TOTALLY* dead.  ) | | |

Good point. I've resisted using them because it's not as customizable as a personally coded website is. Not only is the site a place for photos, but it's a place for me to build up my programming skills.  | | |

6 Posts | I think the site needs to have more info on stuff you can do if you want to stay in the Winter Haven area for more than a day trip. How about more on the different accomodations in all price ranges, interesting places to eat where the locals eat, offerings of the Winter Haven Leisure services department that are free, low cost and calming after family time in the high stimulation Legoland Florida park. There is a lot for people to do right in Winter Haven and Polk County. People need to be aware of it. Would like to see the site reveal some of this interesting and useful kind of stuff. |
