Coasterjunkie Orlando, FL Brickster 243 Posts	Wow! That place really has changed since the last time I was there during the old CGAP days. I noticed the Florida Pool has that lovely shade of pond scum green to it. Were the electric boats always in back of the water park?

Strangely no. On the old image they were in or near the parking lot. (I have that image too, just not posted.) Wonder why they keep them? They're pretty ratty anyway.

Maybe like the historic gardens the boats are also owned by Polk County and leased with the land to LL. So LL would have to keep them around until Polk agrees to get rid of them. Or just maybe they keep them around for public relations to give the impression they may actually use them again someday. Those that know the real answers are the ones that don't tell!!

By the look of the Florida pool - it probably has be taken over by some endangered frog/toad and will never be able to be "restored" again!!

Google Maps of LLF This map shows a completed water park with sparkling blue water, a completed Fried Chicken Co., a completed Star Wars Miniland, and an in-progress World of Chima area. Judging by the amount of construction, I'd say this image is from March 2013.
